The useful bits
This year my little one turned 3. His third birthday party was dinosaur themed and at the time, his favourite soft toy was a tiger called 'Claw-dia' (I was so happy to see this was the tiger's name on the tag when we purchased it as you all know how much I love a good pun). At the party, Remy's Aunty had made party crowns and hats for all the kids and even made a tiny one for Clawdia. It was the cutest thing and I couldn't help but bring myself to create this.
This large sculpture has been lovingly hand built with stoneware clay - the main body coil built and each dinosaur hand sculpted and attached to the party ready tiger. Hand painted with underglazes, glaze and and twice fired to temperatures up to 1280℃ to create a durable and strong ceramic sculpture.

*Please note there are a few minor surface cracks around the face of the tiger (please see pictures for a closer look) that do not effect structural integrity of the sculpture.
Please note all items are handcrafted and may have minor imperfections. Thank you for embracing the imperfectly perfect.
Making & care
I make everything from stoneware clay and fire it twice. If a piece has gold lustre, keep it out of the dishwasher and microwave.
